About JHOHS

Two names, one idea.

Jarad Higgins and Peter Higgs — restless creativity meeting the structure under everything. That tension is the school.

The name

Juice WRLD, meet the Higgs boson.

Jarad is for Jarad Higgins — the artist Juice WRLD — and the young, expressive, restless creativity he stood for. Higgs is for Peter Higgs, the physicist behind the Higgs boson: rigor, curiosity, the structure under everything.

That tension isthe brand — youthful energy meeting scientific rigor. We built a school where moving fast and getting it exactly right aren’t opposites.

Mission

Mastery, for every kind of mind.

We pair real teachers with self-paced, mastery-based courses so every student — accelerated, recovering, neurodivergent, or simply curious — can learn at the speed of their own understanding, and graduate ready for what’s next.

Partners & collaborations

We don't do it alone.

A school is only as strong as the institutions standing behind its diploma. Here's who we work with.

College credit & dual enrollment

Dual-enrollment partnerships let students earn transcripted college credit, and we're an authorized College Board school for AP courses and exams.

Athletics & activities

Core courses are submitted to the NCAA Eligibility Center, and our clubs compete through FIRST Robotics, the National Speech & Debate Association, and the AMC/MAA math contests.

Industry mentorship

A volunteer network of working professionals — in tech, engineering, healthcare, and the arts — mentors student capstones and career-exploration projects.

Enrichment & research

Collaborations with museums, observatories, and an online research library give students virtual field experiences and university-grade databases.
